I studied at the San Francisco Ballet for four years in high school which means I understand what it feels like to want to do anything to get better at one's craft. I thought dancing more was the answer, but learned later in my studies of yoga and physical therapy, that the tools that could have helped me the most were in other disciplines. Yoga can help you develop your foot flexibility as well as preserve your feet for life after dance - which hopefully will be many decades more than an actual professional ballet career. Physical therapy can help you with cross training - keeping strong evenly throughout the body so that you are the best dance athlete you can be.
As a physical therapist, I am here to both help you achieve your highest self through dance while also keeping in mind the best interests for your body in the long run.
